Our Philosophy & Values
Four pillars sit underneath everything we build, from a Monday evening run to a certification framework for organisations. Here's what they actually mean in practice.
“We believe wellbeing is built in the small, everyday wins, not in the larger wins we often look for. By looking after the small wins, everything else looks after itself. We've helped each other and ourselves find that, and now we want to help other people find their small wins and their joy, and thus improve their own wellbeing.”

The four pillars, explained
A short film walking through each of the four ideas that shape everything we do.

Introspection & Reflection
Before we can look after our wellbeing, we have to actually understand it. We build in space to check in honestly with ourselves, through journaling prompts, quiet moments on a run, and conversations that go beyond small talk. It's not about overthinking, it's about noticing what's really going on beneath the surface, so the small wins we chase are the ones that actually matter to us.

Community & Connection
Wellbeing built alone rarely lasts. Ours is built in a park on a Monday evening, over coffee, in a WhatsApp group that actually replies. We believe the people around you are one of the strongest tools you have, so everything we build, from the Run Club to the podcast, exists to bring people together rather than send them off to figure it out solo.

Presence & Gratitude
It's easy to spend a whole day looking forward to the next thing and never actually notice the one you're in. We try to slow that down, celebrating the small stuff (a good run, a hard conversation had well, a Monday that didn't feel heavy) rather than only measuring life by the big milestones. Gratitude, done honestly, is a genuine mood booster.

Wellbeing & Joy
This is where the other three pillars land. Not a single big transformation, but a steady, everyday sense of feeling good, supported, and like yourself. It's the reason The Mood Booster exists at all, for individuals finding their own small wins, and for organisations trying to build the same thing into how they treat their people.
